ABOUT US

Veterans Upward Bound is designed to motivate and assist veterans in the development of academic and other requisite skills necessary for acceptance and success in a program of postsecondary education. The program provides assessment and enhancement of basic skills through counseling, mentoring, tutoring and academic instruction in the core subject areas. The primary goal of the program is to increase the rate at which participants enroll in and complete postsecondary education programs.

Veterans Upward Bound is a TRIO Federal Program. Our sector of Veterans Upward Bound serves veterans in the following areas

  • St. Louis City

  • St. Louis County

  • St. Charles County

  • Madison County

  • St. Clair County

  • Monroe County

 

We are looking for Veterans who want to further their education but need help navigating the enrollment process and finding financial assistance.

We help Veterans who need help balancing work and family.

We assist Veterans who are ready to take on the task of making life better for themselves and their families.

We are here for you.

How to Apply

All of our services are free. Veterans need only to apply in 3 easy steps.

Step 1: Open, fill, and digital sign the 3 forms located at the top of the page. The PDF documents are titled, "application", "income verification", and veteran statement". No personal identifiable information will be shared to any organization.

Step 2: Submit your application to us via email, mail, or in person.

Step 3: Get ready for the next chapter in your life! We will contact you within 48 hours of receiving your application.
